If you really want to get flat abs then you need to clear your mind of what the media has been feeding you for years.  The fact is the only way to get flat abs is to burn fat, and workout your abs.  There really isn’t any way around this fact.  If your goal is to get flat abs then read on.  I’ll show you exactly what it takes to finally get flat abs.  Be prepared to work though.

I don’t want to burst your bubble, but there is no way to get good abs without diet and exercise.  Don’t believe those late night infomercials, 5 minutes a day, 3 times a week isn’t all you need to do to get flat abs.  You WILL need to diet also.

Start a workout program; this is a great way to get flat abs.  By increasing your muscle mass you’ll increase the number of calories you burn thus losing weight.  I suggest a full body workout and don’t ignore the abs and some cardio too.

Not here’s the important part to get flat abs.  Measure your fat percentage every week using a caliper or body fat scale.  In this way you’ll be able to track your progress on your log (you will be keeping a progress log, right?)  Your goal is to get to about 12% body fat or lower.  You can only really see that 6 pack if you get under this number.
