We all want to get good abs, the question is how to accomplish this.  Summer is once again just around the corner and if you want to get good abs you really need to start now.  Infomercials and other advertising would have you believe that all you need to do to get good abs is use their machine for 5 minutes a day, 3 times a week. Sadly, this isn’t all you need to do to get good abs.  Read on to learn how to get good abs by summer.

The first thing to understand is there is absolutely no way to spot reduce fat, it just can’t be done.  There is no miracle cream or pill.  If you want to know how to get good abs then know this, you have to burn fat everywhere, only in this way will you reduce your belly fat.  The easiest way to accomplish this is with diet and exercise.  Burn more calories and eat less, create a calorie deficit and you will get good abs.

How to get good abs? You’ll need to work out, and by this I mean a full body workout.  By building muscle you’ll increase your lean muscle mass, in this way you’ll increase your calorie burning.

You’ll want to measure your body fat every week so you can track your progress.  I suggest you use a caliper.  Your goal is to get under 12% body fat, once you get under this number you can actually see your good abs that you’ve been working on.

Also keep a log of your progress so you can see how you’re doing and be able to make adjustments to your diet or exercise program to get the best results.  If you’re serious about learning how to get good abs, this is a necessity.

Continue to workout and do cardio each week and measure your progress.  If you need to add some weight loss supplements to get under that magic 12% body fat percentage.
